As a 12 year old, I created a Polyvore account after my sister had just recently became obsessed with fashion. Primarily, Polyvore was never used as an artistic outlet. Instead, it served its purpose as a fashion and design website. I however, was in the category of "doll" makers - a type of style that is created by taking different parts of the body and creating a coherent image. Although I never limited myself to just this skill set, it was what I loved to do the most. When I was younger, my inspiration for my sets was a user named Tabitha Sue. Even now as I look back on her sets I'm in awe of her incredible talent. She will always be an inspiration to my work. Although I have taken a break from Polyvore and creating sets, I will always see Polyvore as the starting point of my digital artwork.
